Identity
Stripe confirms who you are while you set up payouts. It may ask for a government-issued ID and your business details, inside its own secure flow.
Confirmed when you sign up, before you can publish.
Verification and payouts are the same setup. Open the Payout Account section in your photographer dashboard.
Click "Connect Bank Account". You are taken to Stripe to link your bank and enter your details.
Stripe verifies you as part of that onboarding. Most people finish in a few minutes; if Stripe needs a document, it asks for it right there and tells you when it is done.
Once Stripe confirms your account, Settings → Identity Verification shows "Verified via Stripe Connect", and payouts can reach you.
It is how you get paid
Pickxel pays out through Stripe, so a booking's money cannot reach you until this is done. You can publish and take bookings first; connect before your first payout is due.
Your documents go to Stripe, not to Pickxel. Pickxel never receives or stores your ID; it only learns whether Stripe has confirmed your account.
Stripe tells you what it needs in its own flow and by email. Go back to Settings → Payout Account and finish the steps it lists; there is nothing to send to Pickxel.
Only if Stripe asks. That can happen if your ID expires or your business details change.
No. Publishing and taking booking requests do not need it. Payouts do, so connect your payout account before your first delivery is approved.
